- You know how singers say "I've been singing since I was two," and dancers learn to pee while doing pirouettes? Well I've been designing since the 5th grade. I started off with big dreams of wanting my clothes in the Slauson Swapmeet, to now wanting my line to be distributed throughout the Los Angeles area. About two years ago I discovered this Hip Hop culture while working at Niketown and it's had a big influence on my style and overall mind set. I'm an aspiring Graphic Artist, so I'm learning to use those applications and use my art background to create a unique clothing line I call IllestBrand or IB by B.Nikki. My inspiration comes from urban cities such as L.A. and NYC (birth place of the hip and the hop), and the music I listen to.
